Budget EL 6C Now Available

EARLIER: EL Mobile's brand new smartphone, the EL 6C, is now available for pre-order from EL Mobile's website and their cooperation online store include Amazon, Aliexpress and Jumia. This is a brand new budget smartphone from the company, and it is priced under $100, during the pre-order period, though the company has announced that the price will drop even further, to $89.99, and that will probably happen during the day.


The phone comes in a single color variant, and you can check out the device in the gallery from their website. Four additional color variants are listed on the company’s website but are not available via EL official site, Gold, Black, Red, and Rose Gold. The EL 6C features two vertically-aligned cameras on the back, those two cameras are included in the top-left corner of the phone’s backside, while an LED flash sits on the middle of those two cameras.

El’s logo is also located on the back of the phone. The display features rounded corners, which is the case with almost all modern smartphones.


The EL 6C is fueled by MediaTek’s quad-core chip. The device features a 5.5-inch full high resolution (960 x 480) display, which comes down to an 18:9 display aspect ratio. The phone comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card), though only a variant with 8GB of storage is available at the moment.


A 3,000mAh battery is included in this package, and it is removable. This smartphone does come with a fingerprint scanner, though that fingerprint scanner is located on the back side of the device. The phone doesn't support facial scanning, it is a pity, while Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on the phone.

5 and 2-megapixel cameras are included on the back of the EL 6C, while a single 2-megapixel camera can be found on the phone’s front side. The device supports 4G LTE connectivity.
